Bad & Good: Okay by God

When fear comes over me, whether it’s because of not feeling well or because I don’t know how I can handle it all, I can easily start to panic.

As I was feeling light-headed while driving to work in the dark recently (I do not like that feeling while driving), I spoke aloud. I said something like the following:

Anything bad that happens only is allowed to happen because God has given it His stamp of approval. Otherwise, it wouldn’t be allowed to happen. God’s knowledge is infinite. Mine is limited. I don’t know the bigger plan. I put complete trust in Him. I know if God does allows bad, He will also be right with me during it all.

Any anything purely good is from God. So whether it’s bad or good happening, I can rest assured that God’s hand is in it all. I do not need to fear.

(Of course, I will do the best I can as a flawed person, by God’s grace, to not create or contribute to anything bad.)

It’s a lose-lose situation for evil because God has me no matter what and I cling to God only. It’s by God’s grace, mercy and strength that I am here. And when He doesn’t want me here anymore, I will be gone and with Him.
