Focus on Individual’s Rights

Seeing groups of individuals as all the same, as is very frequently done these days, does a huge and dangerous disservice to individuals. It actually belittles the individuals.

We hear sweeping generalizations about a group. How can anyone listen to a group? A group isn’t a person. Of course, it tends to be the loud people who speak for everyone else.

Group think and hive minds take away from the individuals as well.

Then there is the issue of trying to get unaffiliated people to feel personally shamed for what has happened to a group. Yet again, this takes away from each individual’s stories. It takes away from looking at what each individual has experienced and needs. How can problems be solved and mistakes corrected with such sweeping generalizations? It creates confusion and chaos.

It’s even unfair when a parent sees as his/her kids as one-in-the-same—as if each child wasn’t his/her own person. It just doesn’t help anyone to do that—except perhaps if the parent prefers convenience over connection and relating.

We can’t solve problems for a group of people. We can, however, help individuals solve their problems (if they want to solve them, that is).

I talk to individuals. Do you need support in defending and not forfeiting your individual, Inalienable rights? Please contact me. I’d love to help you.
